KULU1 helps independent authors bring their work to readers through professional print-on-demand publishing and worldwide delivery. We welcome books in Tigrinya, Amharic, English, and other languages, and we are committed to making publishing straightforward, accessible, and transparent.
Authors must own the rights to the work they submit or have written authorization from the copyright holder. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all text, photographs, illustrations, cover artwork, and other material included in the book may legally be published.
Before submitting, carefully review spelling, page order, margins, images, names, and all other important content. KULU1 may request corrections or additional information when a file is not ready for printing.
KULU1 uses a print-on-demand model. Authors do not need to purchase or store large quantities of books in advance. Copies are produced when customers place orders, subject to printing and shipping availability.
Books published through KULU1 may be made available to customers around the world. Typical delivery is approximately 7–10 business days, although production and delivery times can vary by destination, carrier, customs, and other circumstances.
Authors receive a royalty equal to 25% of Net Sales from qualifying printed-book sales through KULU1.COM. Royalty calculations and payments are governed by the KULU1 Author Agreement. Authors should review the Author Agreement for the complete definition of Net Sales, payment terms, and other applicable conditions.
Authors are required to maintain a KULU1 Vendor Account. The account provides access to available author and sales information, profile management, book-performance information, and royalty-related information.
Submitted material must comply with applicable law and must not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other intellectual-property rights. Authors remain responsible for the content of their books and for obtaining any permissions required for publication.
Authors may request removal of their books from KULU1. Approved removal requests are normally processed within 24–48 hours. Additional terms may apply under the KULU1 Author Agreement.
Authors are encouraged to promote their books through social media, personal websites, community organizations, blogs, author events, and other appropriate channels. KULU1 may also feature or promote selected books through its own marketing channels.
